The Smithfield Recreation Department held the first annual sandcastle building competition at Slack’s Pond on August 7 and it was a hit! The event was held rain or shine and was assisted by beach staff. Congratulations to Olivia Tucker for winning the competition! A special thank you to the Cat House Guys for their generous donation.
