Swamp Meadow Community Theatre is proud to present the fan-favorite musical, The Lightning Thief!
Based on the breakout novel by Rick Riordan, The Lightning Thief follows Percy Jackson, a kid who can’t seem to stay out of trouble. Percy gets swept up in a world of Greek mythology: the Greek gods are real, and so are the monsters. Percy and his friends at Camp Half-Blood need to find out why the gods are so mad, and what a few mortal teenagers can do to stop it.
With a talented ensemble, a driving rock soundtrack, and an inspiring story about taking control of your destiny, this show is a must-see. The Lightning Thief is for mythology nerds, Riordan fans, theater lovers, and everyone in between.
This production, directed by Cate Hackett, features two alternate casts for the leads. Camp Half-Blood performs on May 3, May 9, and May 11 at 7pm. Camp Jupiter performs on May 4 and 10 at 7pm and May 5 at 2pm. Find tickets and more information at swampmeadow.org.
