Here to There Realty is so much more than your boutique real estate brokerage. They are always looking for ways to give back to communities throughout Rhode Island, and this past summer was no exception. Here to There Realty had the opportunity to take part in some amazing events that provided support and helped to build a sense of community among locals.
The first event took place at Something Fishy, Inc. in Warwick. Something Fishy, Inc. is a co-working/event space that is home to thousands of fish and aquatic life, and constructs aquariums for residential and commercial settings. It proved to be the perfect spot for local children to enjoy some fish-themed children’s books written by a local author, make a fish craft, snack on some goldfish (the crackers, not real ones!), and explore the aquarium. The highlight of the tour for the children was getting to pet the starfish! Families were given the option to take books with them to promote reading and literacy at home. Here to There Realty hosts several of these events throughout the year. Jessica Gemma, a realtor with Here to There, is a former English teacher who is passionate about spreading the importance of literacy at an early age.
The second event was a school supply drive, which Here to There Realty plans to make an annual event. The brokerage put together hundreds of backpacks stocked with notebooks, pens, pencils, highlighters, and more. The school supply drive took place at their office in North Providence and helped countless families start the school year feeling well prepared. Families expressed gratitude as they prepared their children for the new school year, and little ones got their faces painted as a bonus.
While Here to There Realty was busy, it didn’t stop them from doing what they do best – helping those in the community make their next move. They helped many families close on properties this summer, including one right here in town, added a few new listings, and are currently advising several buyers as they navigate their way through the current market.
