Tickets for Saint Philip Parish Men’s Club pasta supper, Meghan’s Mission, to raise funds for 16-year-old Meghan Kiernan of Greenville, are on sale now.
The dinner is Thursday, March 23, in the Parish Center of Saint Philip Church, 622 Putnam Pike, Greenville.
Kiernan, a sophomore at Smithfield High School, is the daughter of Colleen Kiernan and the granddaughter of Dorothy Connell and the late Peter Connell.
In May of this year she was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma and has already had four surgeries, undergone four cycles of chemotherapy and 11 treatments of radiation.
The event will feature a pasta and meatball supper from 3 to 8 p.m. as well as a large multi-level raffle with prizes donated from businesses and families in the community.
Dinner tickets are $10 for adults and $7 for senior citizens and children. Raffle tickets are $1 each or a book of six tickets for $5. You do not need to be present to win.
Tickets can be purchased after Mass at Saint Philip Church on the weekends of Feb. 11 & 12 and March 18 & 19; At Stop & Shop Supermarket, Putnam Pike, on Saturday Feb. 18 and Sunday March 5. Tickets are available daily from Smithfield YMCA, Cerrone’s Auto Body, and Laura’s Diner. All members of Saint Philip Men’s Club are selling the tickets, as well as the family of Meghan Kiernan.
One hundred percent of all monies raised will go towards the ongoing medical expenses of this child.
