Attorney Gene M. Carlino of Lincoln has joined the prominent Providence law firm of Pannone Lopes Devereaux & West LLC.
Managing Partner Gary R. Pannone announced that Carlino, an estate planning and tax law attorney, has joined the firm as partner. Pannone said Carlino is a highly respected attorney with more than 25 years of experience in all areas of estate and tax planning and administration, Medicaid planning, probate administration and trust litigation.
“Gene is a distinguished member of the legal and business community and we are extremely pleased to welcome him to the PLDW family,” said Pannone. “His leadership style, client service philosophy and decades of experience as a business owner and practitioner are a perfect combination that will greatly benefit our clients. This is a rare opportunity for both PLDW and Gene to combine resources in a seamless transaction. Gene’s legal skills further enhance PLDW’s reputation as one of the leading law firms in the region in the areas of estate and tax planning, Medicare planning, probate and trust litigation.”
Carlino founded the law firm of Carlino Law Associates, PC in 1999, establishing it as among the most prominent estate and tax law firms in the area, the press release said. In joining PLDW, both firms will benefit from the synergies of talent and the full range of resources of PLDW as it continues expanding its footprint in all its practice areas in the New England, New York and Florida markets. Carlino joins Attorney Bernard A. Jackvony, a high profile estate and trust administration lawyer, who is nationally recognized as a fiduciary litigator across the country.
“I am delighted to join the PLDW team,” said Carlino. “PLDW’s team of talented attorneys and its resources are the ideal match to take my growing practice to the next level. The timing is right and I look forward to contributing to the firm’s continued success.”
